CaroTrans Strengthens Import Service With Dedicated Leadership Team

CLARK, NJ--(Marketwire - Aug 27, 2012) - CaroTrans, a leading global NVOCC (non vessel operating common carrier) and ocean freight consolidator, today announced an increased commitment to their import business with the addition of two new leadership positions. Lueder Bitter will serve as National Import Operations Manager and John Lourmas will fill the role of National Commercial Manager of Imports. These two new devoted roles will strengthen and grow CaroTrans' global LCL and FCL import business and shape future development. CaroTrans' core import services include the following trade lanes: China, Brazil, Japan, UK, Germany, Scandinavia, Benelux, Italy, Spain, U.S, Oceania, South Korea, Chile, Peru, Hong Kong, and Singapore.

Lueder Bitter's managerial experience includes over 30 years in operations with NVOCCs in Rotterdam, Hamburg and Los Angeles. Prior to his new role overseeing the operations and compliance management of CaroTrans' Import business, Lueder was Los Angeles Branch Manager, CaroTrans, for over twelve years.

John Lourmas is a graduate of CaroTrans' comprehensive graduate program which involves recruiting and training talented college graduates, preparing them to be CaroTrans' future leaders. John has been with CaroTrans since 2003. In his previous role at CaroTrans, as international sales manager, John played an integral part in developing CaroTrans' Asia business. He is a proven leader with excellent business development skills.
