DURHAM, N.C., Sept. 5, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The portfolio performance was ranked #1 by PSN Informa for the 3-year time period in the Small-Mid Value universe out of the 63 products in its category, and received the "Best of the Best" award.
Verity's Small-Mid Cap Value portfolio also received multiple #1 and top ten rankings from PSN Informa for the performance period ending 6/30/2012.
Significantly, the portfolio was further recognized with five top-ten "Bull and Bear Master" rankings, including:
- #1 in the Small-Mid Value universe,
- #1 in the Small-Mid Cap universe,

To qualify for the "Bull and Bear Master" rankings, a product must have, for the recent three year period, an Upside Market Capture ratio of 100 or more, a Downside Market Capture ratio of 100 or less, and an R-squared of 0.80 or greater relative to its style benchmark. Verity's Small-Mid Cap Value portfolio had the highest ratio of Upside Market Capture to Downside Market Capture in the Small-Mid Value universe.
