Reston, VA, Sept. 6, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Inc. magazine recognized ThunderCat Technology, a federal IT systems integrator, as one of the nation's fastest growing private companies on their annual Inc. 500|5000 list. This is ThunderCat's first year on the list, ranking at #842 overall, and #108 in the IT category in their first year of eligibility. With a 414% growth rate over the past 3 years ThunderCat joins the list, alongside some of the most elite companies such as Microsoft, Facebook, and Levi Strauss.
The Inc. 5000 list recognizes America's independent
entrepreneurs such as ThunderCat, for their growth and
contributions to the marketplace. "We are genuinely excited
and honored to be including in this prestigious list. This is
a direct result of the hard work of our staff and trust and
reputation we have developed with our clients and partners", said
Tom Deierlein, ThunderCat CEO who is a 2012 Ernst & Young
Entrepreneur of Year award winner in Greater Washington.
Since ThunderCat's inception in 2008, the service-disabled veteran
owned small business has continued to grow. In 2011, its 414%
growth can be attributed to multiple key hires, new contract wins
and utilization of the SEWP IV contract. ThunderCat hopes to grow
in the federal IT space by integrating best of breed manufacturers
and solving customer's problems in and around the data center.
Keith McMeans, ThunderCat's co-founder and General Manager added
"Our tremendous growth is clearly a team effort. We have made
it a point over the past 4 years to hire only the most talented and
dedicated people. We owe our success to this incredible,
elite team and look forward to continued growth by serving our
clients' needs."
