These stunning new models of electric fireplaces are being introduced at the 2012 Casual Living Show in Chicago (Suite 15-117). While expanding to include products for inside the home, OGC remains a long-standing leader in the market for outdoor gas fire pits and outdoor fireplaces. Earlier in 2012 they experienced great success with the introduction of the award-winning Key Largo, an outdoor fire pit with a unique linear burner. The new Gallery Electric Fireplaces were designed to deliver to a growing market in today's indoor and outdoor hearth industry –sleek, linear contemporary designs. All Gallery Electrics operate quietly using Silent Fire™ Technology, a propriety operating method to eliminate noises accompanying earlier electric fireplaces. They come with LED lighting - what OGC refers to as Low Energy Demand as it allows the fires to operate very efficiently. The cost to operate both the fireplace and the backlighting for a typical consumer is less than a penny/hour (heating element operates for less than 10 cents/hour).
The five linear models range in price from $699 to $2,200 with widths from 36" to 94"; all are 26.5" tall x 6" deep. They include a remote control to operate four unique flame settings, a two-speed heater, and color settings; 12 backlighting colors, an off mode, and continuous flow setting. The heater nicely warms a room and has a thermostatic control that can be turned on and off remotely.
