VANCOUVER, BRITISH COLUMBIA--(Marketwire - Sept. 17, 2012) - On Tuesday, September 18, 2012, the Immigrant Employment Council of BC (IEC-BC) will bring together 150 employers, business leaders and government policy makers at the 2012 Leaders' Summit on Immigrant Employment to discuss strategies to attract and retain skilled immigrants into BC workplaces.
IEC-BC spokespeople will be available to respond to an announcement made on Tuesday morning by the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training about a new initiative to attract and integrate skilled immigrants into BC's workforce.

About the 2012 Leaders' Summit on Immigrant Employment
The 2012 Leaders' Summit will bring together 150 senior decision makers and leaders from small, medium and large businesses, industry and business associations and, federal and provincial government to share leading practices on hiring and retaining immigrant talent as well as current provincial and federal immigrant workforce initiatives. The Summit will also feature practical workshop sessions on hiring and retaining skilled immigrant talent.
