TriPoint Global Equities, LLC Announces New Hires and New Office Opening

NEW YORK, NY--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) - TriPoint Global Equities, LLC, ("TriPoint"), a FINRA member and leading boutique investment bank that provides companies with capital raising and corporate and strategic advisory services, today announced the hiring of Ariel Imas and Braden Ferrari. In addition, effective October 1, 2012, TriPoint is pleased to announce the opening of a new midtown office located at 335 Madison Ave, New York, NY 10017.

Mr. Imas and Mr. Ferrari bring additional banking and structuring capabilities to TriPoint with the primary responsibility of expanding the institutional banking platform for TriPoint. Both will concentrate on investment banking, focusing on sourcing deal flow and raising capital via Private Investment in Public Equity (PIPE) opportunities for small and micro-cap public companies in the healthcare, energy, consumer products and technology sectors.

Prior to joining TriPoint, Mr. Imas served as Managing Director at du Pasquier & Co., Inc. and Co-President of the Capital Markets division at Avalon Securities Ltd. Mr. Imas has also held banking positions at Spencer Clarke and Midtown Partners & Co. He began his Wall Street career at Kellogg Specialist Group, Dealogic Ltd, and theStreet.com. Mr. Imas received a B.B.A. in Finance from Pace University. 

Mr. Ferrari also served as Managing Director at du Pasquier & Co., Inc. and Co-President of the Capital Markets division at Avalon Securities Ltd. Mr. Ferrari has also held banking positions at Spencer Clarke and Midtown Partners & Co. He began his Wall Street career at Bear Stearns. Mr. Ferrari received his B.A. in Economics at Wheaton College and was awarded the 2006 Wheaton College Young Alumni Achievement Award. Mr. Ferrari is an active board member at Cents Ability, Inc., a New York City based non-profit organization.
