AUSTIN, TX--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) - Virtualization and Cloud Experts Scott Lowe, Dave McCrory and Edward Haletky will speak at vScience, a new highly technical training workshop for computer programmers, developers, architects and administrators that will go incredibly deep into the intricacies of virtualization and cloud technologies. Media sponsors include Virtual Strategy Magazine and The Virtualization Practice.
"vScience is the first of its kind, and it's going to be awesome," said Edward Haletky, vScience creator and speaker. "vScience fills the virtualization training gap not addressed by other events through deeply technical discussions and open ended hands-on training so that attendees can achieve technical proficiency and mastery of complex technologies in order to advance within their real-world organizational settings."
Speaker, author and blogger Scott Lowe will do a technical session on storage. He will go deep into storage sizing, storage architectures, storage protocol considerations and current recommended practices for storage in VMware vSphere environments.
Speaker, author and PaaS evangelist Dave McCrory will do an in depth session on PaaS. He will look at what PaaS is and is not, give an overview of PaaS core concepts, architectures and designs, look at deploying PaaS onto IaaS and managing PaaS and talk about PaaS futures and timelines.
Speaker, author and analyst Edward Haletky will present on all things security. He will go very deep into virtualization, hybrid cloud and tenant security. He will cover virtualization security basics, virtualization security data flow, putting it all together, expanding architecture to the hybrid cloud and to the public cloud and what security to put in place for a tenant/desktop.
