CHICAGO, IL--(Marketwire - Sep 25, 2012) - Human Resource Executive® magazine, the premier publication focused on strategic issues in HR, today announced that Mark Hurd, president of Oracle, will present a special session on the final day of the upcoming 15th Annual HR Technology® Conference & Exposition. Hurd's presentation will take place October 10, 2012 in the West Wing of Chicago's McCormick Place.
As president of Oracle, Mark Hurd is one of the top three executives at one of the top two human capital management (HCM) software companies in the world, responsible for leading a $35.5 billion company. During his session, titled "A CEO Perspective: Thoughts on Customers, HR and How CEOs Think about the World," he will give a short presentation on Oracle's HCM software customers and explain why he wants what he does from HR as a senior executive. Hurd will also answer questions from conference co-chair Bill Kutik as well as the audience.
"Based on his current role as president of Oracle, and his previous position as CEO of Hewlett-Packard, Mark Hurd is one of today's most successful senior high tech executives and certainly knows a thing or two about the importance of HR technology," said Kutik. "He is also the most senior executive from the largest software company to address the conference in our 15-year history. We are thrilled to have Mark share his unique insight about HCM software, and we are delighted to have a presentation from such an accomplished business leader."
Conference attendees can learn more from today's leading executives of HR technology providers during the session, "Bringing HR Into the Cloud - Naomi's Master Panel," hosted by Naomi Lee Bloom, the world's leading expert in HR technology and managing partner of Bloom and Wallace.
