Located in 23 Eastern states, each participating Pet Supplies Plus location will partner with a local rescue organization in order to host an in-store Adopt-a-Pet Weekend event. Animals available for adoption are cats, dogs, and in some cases, both. All new pet parents will be given an informative New Pet Checklist and a coupon for $10 off $50 spent at the store.
Throughout the entire month of October, these Pet Supplies Plus locations will continue support for their local animal rescue organization by offering shoppers the chance to donate at checkout for the chain's annual October Donation Drive. Patrons will have the opportunity to support their local rescue agency by donating funds via cash, credit or debit card. Pet Supplies Plus will also donate $1,000 to the local partner of the store collecting the most donations.
