Jive Announces Award Winners at Jive World 2012


LAS VEGAS, Oct. 11, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Jive Software, Inc. (Nasdaq:JIVE), the leader in social business, revealed the winners of the 2012 Jive Awards, recognizing customers using social business to drive business results. Jive customers are today's trailblazers and tomorrow's business leaders, embracing social technologies that allow them to work more effectively and change the way business gets done.

The 2012 Jive Awards were chosen by a prestigious group of judges that included external influencers and thought leaders, previous Jive Award winners, and Jive senior leadership. This year's winners were the most diverse since the award program's inception, spanning the globe and exploding through boundaries with the help of Jive's award-winning platform.

The 2012 Jive Award winners are announced in the following categories:

Teaming

The Teaming Award recognizes a team or group that uses Jive for Teams to accomplish a specific goal or project that requires collaboration across the organization.

Winner: HealthFitness

HealthFitness serves Fortune 100 companies by providing program managers who work on location with clients to implement and run their health and wellness programs for employees. HealthFitness's search for a social solution was lead by executive management, who chose Jive after an extensive review of Jive, Chatter, and Yammer.

The Engage Employees Award recognizes a social intranet solution that helps foster cross-departmental collaboration, improvements in efficiency, problem solving, and innovative approaches to drive adoption.

Winner: Millward Brown

Millward Brown is a leading global research agency specializing in advertising, marketing communications, media, and brand equity research. Judges cited the enthusiasm exhibited by Millward Brown's user community and its wide, global user adoption, with 86% of employees having used Jive within five months of its rollout.

Engage Customers

The Engage Customers award recognizes an organization for building a customer service solution to improve customer satisfaction, increase loyalty, and engagement.

Winner (tie): Verizon Wireless

Verizon Wireless operates the nation's largest 4G LTE network and largest, most reliable 3G network. The company serves 94.2 million retail customers. The Jive Award judges cited the scale of the Jive deployment and the positive sentiment of its customers as the most impressive attributes of the implementation.

Winner (tie): Premier Farnell

Premier Farnell is a leading multi-channel, high service electronics distributor supporting millions of engineers and purchasing professionals globally. Judges mentioned Premier Farnell's unique, external facing element14 community, powered by Jive, with more than 125,000 registered members and the fact that Premier Farnell is one of Jive's earliest social technology adopters, having implemented the platform back in 2009.

The New Way to Business award is the best-in-show award, recognizing the mastery of Jive across an organization's employees, customers, and partners and has demonstrated a strategic organizational change in the way work gets done.

Winner: PricewaterhouseCoopers
