The family supports an array of 1G, 10G and 40G Passive TAP and Link Aggregation TAP options. The flagship Niagara 3231 consists of a TAP segment which possess full 40 Gigabit monitoring capabilities. The TAP system supports multiple TAP methodologies as well as Multi-Mode and Single-Mode fiber media configuration for 40Gbps. The system architecture is designed for flexibility, enabling to operate in various modes including split, aggregation and packet injection TAP. Additionally, the system supports a full suite of secure management including industry-standard management and logging tools. The full TAP family headlined by Niagara 3231 is designed to integrate with IDS, Sniffers, Analyzers, Probes, and Traffic Management appliances.

Availability
The Niagara Aggregation TAP and Niagara Passive TAP families are in production. The flagship Niagara 3231 will be in production December of 2012.
