Ariel Weindling Joins Los Angeles Office of Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp as Of Counsel

LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Nov 29, 2012) - Mitchell Silberberg & Knupp LLP (MS&K), one of the premier entertainment and business law firms in the U.S., today announced that Ariel D. Weindling has joined the firm as Of Counsel in the Los Angeles office.

Weindling is now a member of MS&K's Corporate & Business Transactions Practice, and he will also advise clients through the firm's Labor & Employment, Intellectual Property and Fashion Industry Practices.

Weindling has advised companies all over the world on a variety of legal and business transactions, including incorporations, mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructuring and liquidations. He has also represented clients in all aspects of employment law in the U.S., Asia, Europe, Central America and South America. Weindling speaks English, French and Hebrew, and has the distinction of being named a French Foreign Trade Advisor (Conseiller du commerce exte�rieur de la France) by the Prime Minister of France.

In addition to his corporate transactions and employment law experience, Weindling has deep expertise in the fashion industry. He formerly served as president and chief executive officer of a fashion footwear company, working with major retailers and distributors worldwide, and executing transactions in Europe, Singapore, Vietnam and China. He will lend that expertise to the members of MS&K's Fashion Industry Practice, which was formally organized and launched by the firm earlier this month. Prior to joining MS&K, Weindling was Special Counsel in the Los Angeles office of Littler Mendelson, where he was a member of the firm's International Employment Law Practice.

Weindling graduated from the Universite Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France, and Boston University School of Law. He has been recognized by the professional guides International Who's Who of Management Labour and Employment Lawyers and Recommended Lawyers in International Employment Law.
