MIAMI, FL--(Marketwire - Nov 30, 2012) - The Florida DUI accident attorneys at the law firm of Bernstein & Maryanoff represent clients who have been badly injured or killed in car accidents that were caused by drunk drivers or by drivers who were under the influence of an intoxicant other than alcohol. The firm hereby announces that it has filed a Florida personal injury lawsuit against two individual defendants on behalf of an injured client. The lawsuit was filed because of an alleged Florida DUI accident that left the firm's client badly injured. She seeks the recovery of several forms of damages with this claim.
Specifically, this Florida personal injury lawsuit was filed in the Circuit Court of the 11th Judicial Circuit in and for Miami-Dade County, Florida. The case was assigned to the General Jurisdiction Division and it was assigned a case number of 07-36020 CA (13). The case was filed in an attempt to recover compensation for losses incurred in a car accident.
According to the court documents associated with the case, the plaintiff was driving her vehicle on March 12, 2005 at or about the intersection of SW 88 Street and SW 91 Avenue, Pinecrest, MIAMI-DADE County, Florida. The court documents allege that at that point, a vehicle being driven by one of the defendants with the permission of the other defendant who owned that vehicle collided with the plaintiff at approximately 9:46 p.m.
The court documents further allege that the defendant who was driving the vehicle that allegedly hit the plaintiff's vehicle was under the influence of alcohol at the time of the crash. The claim also asserts that the defendant owner of the vehicle either knew or should have known about the state of intoxication of the other defendant.
The plaintiff, with the help of the Florida DUI accident lawyers at Bernstein & Maryanoff, filed this Florida personal injury lawsuit because she allegedly suffered bodily injury and resulting pain and suffering, aggravation of a preexisting condition, disability, mental anguish, loss of capacity for the enjoyment of life, expense of hospitalization, medical and nursing care and treatment, loss of wages in the past and future loss of earning capacity. The losses, according to the court documents, are either permanent and/or are continuing in nature and the plaintiff will suffer loss and impairment in the future.
