Princeton, NJ, Dec. 3, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Recognizing the sacrifice and contribution that our military men and women make to our country and as our way of saying thank you for your service to our country, Athena Learning Centers is proud to announce that it will waive the $25,000 initial franchisee fee for U.S. veterans and family members.
Athena believes that our veterans, the men and women who have given so much to serve our country, should return home with business prospects to help them achieve their hopes and dreams. Athena created the Athena Learning Centers Veterans Program to honor qualified veterans and provide them with an opportunity to become Athena franchise owners. The program will be launched immediately and will continue through the 1st quarter of 2013.
"Veterans have experiences that apply to running a small business and have consistently proven to be reliable franchisees that follow the system and make terrific brand ambassadors," says Deven Klein, co-founder and COO, Athena Learning Centers. "We wanted to honor our U.S. veterans and at the same time provide them a jump-start to own their own Athena franchise--especially when many veterans transition back to civilian life in the coming year," Klein stated.
Athena is seeking qualified individuals for single-unit, multi-unit, and area development territories. The company offers a franchise investor model and an owner operator model. Interested veterans may apply by completing the request for information form on Athena's franchise website, or call Athena Learning Centers at 855-422-6532.
