Central government agency in Africa enhances survey processing with ReadSoft

ReadSoft announces a substantial expansion of the utilisation of the company’s
FORMS solution by an African central government statistics bureau. The expansion
deal is worth 387,000 USD and was signed in the fourth quarter of 2012.
This bureau has the responsibility of processing all Official Statistics in its
country. The solution is serviced and supported by ReadSoft South Africa in
collaboration with trained and certified local partners. ReadSoft South Africa
is a fully owned and supported ReadSoft subsidiary based in Johannesburg, South
Africa.
Most recently, the ReadSoft FORMS solution has been utilized to process the
country’s Census. The Central Statistical Office plans to expand their current
central system to include the capturing of all kinds of surveys, as a logical
progression from their Census Project. This includes health service and labour
force surveys.
