FRISCO, Texas, Dec. 18, 2012 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- OxySure® Systems, Inc. (OTCBB:OXYS) ("OxySure," or the "Company"), the medical device innovator of life-saving easy-to-use emergency oxygen solutions with its "oxygen from powder" technology today announced that the Company has completed the second year installation of OxySure/AED combination systems in various public access facilities throughout the City of Frisco.
In October 2011 the Company and the City of Frisco announced a five-year partnership agreement to deliver OxySure's life-saving emergency oxygen products and accessories in combination with Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) at multiple Frisco municipal and community service facilities. The OxySure/AED systems are integrated as part of Frisco's SAFER Pre-Incident Planning process, which allows 911 dispatchers to route callers to the location(s) where these lifesaving devices are installed, if appropriate, and also allows 911 dispatchers to instruct callers on how to deploy these life-saving products, prior to the arrival on the scene of first responders.
Ron Patterson, Assistant City Manager, stated: "We are pleased at the success of this program and we believe it represents an indispensable tool in the way that public emergency preparedness will evolve in the future. Having these tools integrated into our emergency response system and available to those at the incident site, even prior to first responders arriving, has proven to be invaluable in saving lives."
Said Julian Ross, CEO of OxySure: "We are proud of our relationship with the City of Frisco and we are pleased that facilities such as the Dr Pepper Arena, Field House USA, the Frisco Municipal Court, the Frisco Police Department and the Frisco Public Works Department are now all OxySure Beacons of SafetyTM."
