DALLAS, TX--(Marketwire - Jan 7, 2013) - REX 2013, one of the nation's largest and most influential real estate events, announced today that online registration for the June 2013 event is now available. The conference also made available its initial slate of keynote speakers, headlined by the "King of Social Media" Gary Vaynerchuk, as well as announcing a series of dramatic pricing changes designed to make the event more affordable than ever.
Scheduled for June 2-5 in Fort Worth, Texas, REX 2013 will provide attendees with a series of keynotes from leading real estate and tech industry pioneers -- setting a new industry standard for speakers that are both relevant and timely to the real estate professional. Already slated to appear at the 2013 event:
- Gary Vaynerchuk, CEO at VaynerMedia, bestselling author and inventor of Wine Library TV
- Andrew Davis, a marketing visionary who co-founded Boston-based TippingPoint Labs, and the author of Brandscaping
- Jay Baer, president at Convince & Convert, a social media and content marketing consultancy, and bestselling author of The NOW Revolution
"We set out to get beyond the traditional single-keynote this year, and instead are bringing together a group of high-impact, high-energy leaders that can challenge the real estate entrepreneur to do more and be more," said Paul Jackson, CEO and publisher at HousingWire, which is producing the REX conference.
Also setting the event apart is a new pricing strategy that sees 2013 registration rates cut more than 60% from just one year ago -- and new, innovative group pricing options that can drive the registration fee per attendee below $80 per person.
Despite growing in attendance every year since the event's introduction in 2010, last year's $795 general registration rate has been cut to $399 for this year, with early registration available for only $299. Special group rates are also available this year for the first time: $799 for an entire office, up to 10 people.
"What we're doing is challenging the notion that great industry events need to cost thousands of dollars to attend," said Richard Bitner, president at HousingWire. "We want to make it as easy as possible for real estate professionals to be a part of something special this year."
