They were rated in five main categories, ranked as important by more than 550 members of Gen Y: professional development opportunities, benefits, environment, company reputation and culture, and perks. Once the Top 50 was determined based on this quantitative data, a qualitative survey was conducted at each office site, with Brill Street considering the enthusiasm of Gen Y employees for working at the company, enthusiasm of company leadership for Gen Y, overall environment and the percentage of the workforce comprised of Gen Y.
