Jamie Schumann, General Manager of industry leading online lender American Web Loan, joined the company with extensive financial industry experience abroad, working in locales as far-off as India, Ukraine, Japan and the Philippines. A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Jamie received the coveted CATM Airman of the Year in 1992 while serving under the Pacific Air Command and he also earned a Senior Airman Below-the-Zone award in 1993. Jamie holds a B.A. degree from Buena Vista University in U.S. and World History. Prior to assuming his position with the Online Lender's Alliance, Peter Barden served as a Managing Director of Mercury/Clark & Weinstock where he applied his diverse experience in politics, government and finance to work on behalf of his clients. He previously served as Senior Vice President of the Public Governmental Affairs for the New York Power Authority -- the largest state-owned utility in the nation. Mr. Barden also earned the pleasure of serving as former New York Governor George Pataki's Deputy Director of Legislative Affairs. A graduate of Colgate University, Mr. Barden also served six years in the United States Army Reserves. In his Director role at the Online Lenders Alliance (OLA), he works to convey their mission for both accredited members and the millions of consumers they serve.
