a relationship with EMC Corporation to utilize the EMC Captiva
Cloud Toolkit, transforming the scanning experience for Docassist
users. With this technology, Docassist now delivers
enterprise-level scanning performance, flexibility and advanced
features through a one-click, "scan-to-cloud" interface, as
well as a plug-and-play relationship between Docassist and almost
every scanner available today.
The EMC Captiva Cloud Toolkit is a software developer toolkit (SDK)
that enables developers to embed document scanning capabilities
into their browser based business applications. The toolkit
leverages web standards to ensure compatibility with leading web
browsers. Deployment and maintenance costs are drastically reduced
as ActiveX or other browser plug-ins are not required.
Scanner compatibility is ensured via both ISIS and TWAIN
support.
