LAGUNA BEACH, CA--(Marketwire - Feb 27, 2013) - Recently, the Festival of Arts board of directors appointed Laguna Beach resident Tammie Arnold to an open board seat. Arnold is filling a position on the board that was left open by Steve Dicterow who resigned after his election to the Laguna Beach City Council. She will be completing the remaining two years of his term.
"We are delighted Tammie is joining the Festival board," said Festival of Arts president Fred Sattler. "Her diverse set of skills and exceptional track record of success will serve to further complement the Festival's broad range of board member expertise."
Tammie Arnold is a retired managing director from PIMCO, one of the world's largest investment management firms headquartered in Newport Beach. Ms. Arnold was with PIMCO from 1993 to 2013 and serviced in a variety of roles in both Newport Beach and London. While at PIMCO, Ms. Arnold oversaw the firm's global sustainability initiatives, led PIMCO's global advisory business from London, was head of global wealth management, was co-head of the product management group and served as a member of the firm's Executive Committee. Ms. Arnold holds an undergraduate degree from the University of Southern California and an M.B.A. from the Stanford Graduate School of Business.
"It's an honor to service our Laguna community through participation on the Festival of Arts board," commented Arnold.
Completing the Festival's nine-member board, Arnold joins board members president Fred Sattler, vice president Tom Lamb, treasurer Anita Mangels, secretary Pat Kollenda, Wayne Baglin, Bob Moffett, David Perry and Ann Webster. Board members are elected for three-year terms by the Festival's Orange County membership. They volunteer their time, skills and collective leadership to determine policy and set the future direction of the Festival of Arts and Pageant of the Masters.
