Additionally, Aesculap will preview a new system that is currently pending FDA clearance. The Plasmafit™* Pro acetabular cup system, in preparations for market evaluation in the U.S., features a porous titanium coating and unique design for good primary stability and streamlined surgical workflow. Also on display will be Vitelene™*, a Vitamin E stabilized Polyethylene insert that minimizes wear and oxidation, and is currently marketed throughout Europe.
