LOS ANGELES, CA--(Marketwire - Mar 8, 2013) - Insomniac announces the first tier of its line-up for this year's highly anticipated debut of the 2013 Electric Daisy Carnival, Chicago. Celebrated electronic acts and theatrical performers from across the globe will gather at the Chicagoland Speedway during Memorial Day Weekend on May 24-26, 2013, for the premiere of the innovative music festival in Chicago.

Insomniac will transform the Speedway into a completely interactive carnival featuring world-renowned DJs alongside theatrical performers, including fire twirlers, aerialists, dancers, and stilt walkers. The infield will become a fully immersive audiovisual experience with dynamic large-scale art installations amidst multiple stages, along with state-of-the-art lighting and sound production plus numerous full-size amusement rides and attractions that are free for all ticket holders.
Three-day general admission tickets are initially priced at $175 with VIP tickets selling at $299 before service fees. This is an 18 and older event. Minimum age for VIP tickets is 21. A layaway pricing option is available.
EDC Chicago will be the first and only EDC festival providing a limited number of fans with the opportunity to enjoy over-night camping walking distance from the festival grounds. The camping/festival package, which includes three-day general or VIP admission plus camping pass, will be priced at $295 and $419, respectively.
