Kathleen A. McEndy Joins SJI as Vice President, Human Resources
FOLSOM, NJ - Edward J. Graham, chairman, president, and CEO of South Jersey Industries (NYSE: SJI), announced the election of Kathleen A. McEndy as Vice President, Human Resources by SJI's Board of Directors.
In her new role, McEndy will be responsible for strategic human resource planning as well as directing all human resource activities including organizational development, recruitment and staffing, employment law, performance management, employee relations, and compensation and benefits. Also, she will provide management, leadership and direction to the HR staff.
"Kathleen is an accomplished senior human resource executive with a successful track record leading operations and staff organizations for several leading global, national and regional employers such as GE, CIGNA and Independence Blue Cross. We are fortunate to have her join our team at SJI," said Graham. "The skills and experience that Kathleen brings to this position will be critical to helping us achieve our future growth objectives."
McEndy, who has an MBA from St. Joseph's University most recently owned an HR consulting firm and was previously Sr. Vice President HR and Administration at Independence Blue Cross of Philadelphia, PA. She lives in Malvern, PA with her husband.
