Classical Album of the Year: Solo or Chamber Ensemble, was won by Amici Chamber Ensemble for their recording Levant on the ATMA Classique label (http://bit.ly/15vduIu). In Classical Album of the Year: Vocal or Choral; Karina Gauvin won for her CD Prima Donna, also on ATMA Classique (http://bit.ly/12xvmQd).
Classical Composition of the Year, one of Canada's most prestigious composer awards, was won by Edmonton-born composer Vivian Fung for her Violin Concerto. The recording of this piece features violinist Kristin Lee and the Metropolis Ensemble conducted by Andrew Cyr, and is available on the Naxos Canadian Classics CD Dreamscapes (http://bit.ly/PmxioO).
