SAN MATEO, CA--(Marketwired - May 7, 2013) - Leading cloud work and project management software company Clarizen, announced today that it has completed its strongest quarter yet, on the heels of a company-record growth year in 2012. Highlights include the launch of Clarizen's own Apps Marketplace, and adding Box and Intuit QuickBooks to the company's growing list of software integrations.
In 2012, Clarizen grew at a triple-digit clip for the fourth straight year. In the first quarter of 2013 alone, by delivering a more powerful cloud work and project management software solution, Clarizen added over 300 clients to its customer base, along with posting a year-over-year revenue increase of 70 percent.
Clarizen's growth reflects its achievements in delivering on its vision of the "Work Funnel™," connecting conversations and processes to get work done efficiently, effectively, and with better results. Clarizen also developed a wide range of new functionality to address the needs of its customer base -- one feature of particular interest is the Team Board, designed to help agile development teams effectively manage their work. The company also released significant improvements to its integration with customer relationship management (CRM) systems.
"Clarizen customers rely on us to continually improve our solutions and expand our ecosystem to meet their needs," said Avinoam Nowogrodski, CEO and co-founder of Clarizen. "That's why we've made it a priority to partner with powerful cloud applications and widely used software tools, like CRM systems, Box and QuickBooks. This enables our customers to track their work items and projects, manage related documents and keep on top of cost implications and revenue opportunities -- all inside a single system."
This news comes following Clarizen's recent recognition as a finalist in the 2013 CODiE Awards in the best cloud management and project management categories.
