DAYTON, Ohio, May 20, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- MacAulay-Brown, Inc. (MacB), a leading National Security company providing innovative engineering and technical solutions to Defense, Intelligence, Homeland Security and Federal agencies, announced today that Louisiana State University (LSU) College of Engineering has named Sid Fuchs, President and CEO of MacB, Executive in Residence. In his official capacity with the University, he will provide thought leadership, course and seminar lectures, career development counseling, strategic planning and business operations guidance and advisory services to the administration, students and faculty of the University and College.
In addition, on April 12-13, Fuchs participated in the Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering's Capstone Senior Design Program. Last year, Fuchs was inducted into the LSU College of Engineering, Hall of Distinction. He was selected for his distinguished professional achievement, dedicated service to engineering, public service and outstanding humanitarian activities.
"On behalf of the entire MacB family, I'd like to congratulate Sid on being named Executive in Residence by LSU's College of Engineering," said Syd Martin, Vice Chairman of the Board of MacB. "We are very proud of the culture we have built at MacB, which - among other things - focuses on giving back to the community. Sid's unwavering commitment to mentoring our future business leaders and engineers is a testament to his dedication to leading by example and giving back to the industry that has done so much for him."
