EDMONTON, ALBERTA--(Marketwired - May 24, 2013) - Thousands of youth in Alberta will take over Rexall Place and the Expo Centre at Canada's largest youth conference - YC Alberta - this weekend in Edmonton. More than awesome music and activities the weekend's theme "This is Love" will change the lives of thousands of youth across the province, who will be challenged to live for the purposes of God.

Since its inception in 1994, the YC phenomenon has swept across the nation for 15 years, and has grown from 500 students in a small gymnasium, to a sell-out crowd of over 16,000 delegates in Alberta. More than 250,000 students have been impacted by this event that is spreading across the globe.

YC Alberta 2013 will feature Grammy Award Nominated Skillet (US), Danielle Strickland (CA), Bluetree (Belfast, IE), Reggie Dabbs (US), and many more.
