Brown will lead the Enterprise Business Unit with a focus on delivering innovative and effective collaboration solutions to enterprise customers worldwide. He will be responsible for the strategy, financial objectives and operating plans to grow this key area of the company. Scott will start in this executive position on June 3, 2013 and report to Neil Gaydon, President and CEO of SMART Technologies.
Scott brings over 25 years of global experience and leadership in enterprise to SMART. He has held numerous executive roles with Microsoft responsible for several functions including Enterprise Sales, Technical and Solution Sales, Consulting and most recently oversaw the Lync Global Sales and Partner strategy. Over the course of his career, Scott has been directly responsible for driving business results for U.S., North America and Global organizations with accountability for Enterprise, State and Local Government and Education sectors.
