This twin turbocharged V8 powered luxury car offers supercar performance with 542 horsepower on tap, but is refined enough to be the perfect daily driver.
The 200 mph capable 5-Series features a comprehensive blend of components designed and tuned by Dinan, recognized for 34 years as the BMW tuning expert, to enhance every aspect of the vehicle's performance. The 550i S3 offers the only warranty on the market that matches manufacturer coverage for 4 years/50,000 miles and is available in both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations. The flagship 550i S3 makes a jump from 400 horsepower in stock trim, to an impressive 542 horsepower and 587 ft-lbs of torque thanks to Dinan's larger intercoolers and turbochargers, Carbon Fiber High Flow intake (incorporating a load-bearing strut brace into the intake plumbing) and a Dinan tuned exhaust system for a more aggressive sound.
Completing the package is Dinan's Stage 5 Performance software that dramatically changes the way the car performs throughout the power band, while retaining all BMW Factory engine damage safeguards. One of Dinan's specialties, the ECU software includes complete map rescaling, for improved drivability from idle to wide open throttle, properly tuned fuel mixtures to save fuel and protect the engine and a recalibrated top speed governor making the car capable of a top speed of over 200 mph.
