Allied Electronics Receives Exceptional Rating from Customer Halliburton


FORT WORTH, Texas, June 10, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Allied Electronics, a trading brand of Electrocomponents plc (LSE:ECM), recently received the "Exceptional Supplier" rating from its customer Halliburton, one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the energy industry. The Halliburton evaluation is performed annually to ensure that its suppliers are providing the best possible products and adhere to Halliburton's standards. Allied scored 105 out of a possible 115 points and was rated in the following categories:

• Health/Safety/Environment − Includes housekeeping, safety program and compliance with Halliburton requirements
• Service Quality − Includes quality of service, invoice accuracy, responsiveness to requests or needs, and process improvement
• Financial Stability – Includes financial stability, competitive and value added, increased efficiencies and process improvements
