Acquisition of the German Group SIGMA
The IVALIS Group's continued quest for internationalisation
L'INVENTORISTE SA (IVALIS group) has acquired today the German group SIGMA
Created in 1993 by Steffen HOLOCH, the SIGMA group Inventuren und Bestandskontrollen GmbH is the most important independent provider of inventory outsourcing in Germany and Switzerland, with an offer that covers the entire integrated inventory management process chain. Its clients are essentially large food and do-it-yourself retailers. With 250 permanent employees, the group has four branches in Germany (Chemnitz, Stuttgart, Leipzip and Bamberg), one branch in Austria (Brunn) and one branch in Switzerland (Lucerne).
The SIGMA group earned a turnover of €17 million in 2012 for an EBITDA of €1.7 million with a positive net cash position as of 31/12/2012.
The SIGMA group will be consolidated as of 1 July 2013 in the INVENTORISTE SA accounts.
Its acquisition has been financed with a loan from a bank pool and OSEO.
SIGMA's geographic coverage and business assets are complementary to those of IVALIS Deutschland and will allow the IVALIS group to be number two on the German inventory market and no. 1 in Switzerland and Austria. With a turnover of around €50 million, the IVALIS Group, in its new configuration, is a leader on the Western European market.
Moreover, the IVALIS group is continuing its development outside of Europe in order to assist major retailers. A new stage will begin with the opening of a branch in Brazil in June 2013 (IVALIS Servicos de estoque LTDA).
| INVENTORISTE specialises in inventory outsourcing in all retail sectors (hypermarkets, supermarkets, do-it-yourself, textiles, perfume, costume jewellery, sports, gardening, culture, leisure and logistics). The Group has branches in France, Spain, Italy, Belgium, Poland, Germany and the Netherlands, an agency in Portugal as well as a franchise in Morocco.
