MINNEAPOLIS, MN--(Marketwired - Jun 18, 2013) - "After providing bus service to Cambridge and Mora for the past two years, this was a difficult decision for the company," said Kevin Pursey, Director of Marketing and Culture. "We were simply unable to build up ridership on this route."
"We have had good support from community leaders, the media and agents, but the ridership we need just isn't there," said Pursey. "We recognize that there is a need for service in Mora and Cambridge, but we think the need is better met by a van type of service that brings passengers to one of our main routes on I35 with service from Minneapolis/St Paul to Duluth."
Jefferson Lines will continue to provide bus service to many communities in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa, Missouri, Nebraska, Kansas, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Montana, Wyoming and Texas.
