Bonnette Auction Company to Conduct Inventory Reduction Pre-Owned Motorcycle Auction Event at Renegade Harley-Davidson

ALEXANDRIA, La., July 9, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- United Country Bonnette Auctions (www.BonnetteAuctions.com/harley) announces an inventory reduction used motorcycle auction event, Saturday, August 3, 2013, according to Barbara Bonnette, GPPA, CAI and AARE.

"This year Harley-Davidson celebrates its 110th Anniversary year, and we are pleased about working with owners Kate Ribar and Eddie Soberon at Renegade Harley-Davidson in Alexandria on this huge inventory reduction event," said Bonnette. "This is going to be a spectacular auction with over 75 pre-owned bikes up for bid, plus a lunch in the showroom to view the new 2014 Harley-Davidson models."

The event will take place at 2013 N. Mall Drive in Alexandria, La. Free lunch will be served in the showroom beginning at 11:30am where the public may view the new models. The auction will start at 12:30pm local time in Renegade's new 10,000 square foot service center next door.

"We pride ourselves on maintaining a super large cross-section of all models, especially the coveted CVO's. We have to clear out our pre-owned inventory to make room for the 2014 Harley-Davidson models," said owner Kate Ribar. "We are excited to offer the pre-owned inventory up for bid."

Renegade Harley-Davidson is a full-service dealership, offering everything for motorcycle enthusiasts from sales and service to rentals and a training center. Active with the local HOG chapter and numerous community events throughout the year, they are one of the top 10 dealerships for new units sold nationwide out of approximately 678 dealers.

Financing will be available. Bikes may be previewed during regular business hours and beginning at 7am on auction day. Live on-site as well as online bidding is available for this auction. For more information, call 318-443-6614 or visit www.BonnetteAuctions.com/harley.

Bonnette said, "Auctions are a great opportunity to purchase the motorcycle of your dreams at the price you want to pay."

She had these tips for someone considering purchasing at auction:

  • Attend the auction preview to inspect items.
  • Know what item is being auctioned and the current bid.
  • Know what the asking price is.
  • Buy what you like and can afford.

"Decide before the auction starts what you are willing to pay for the item you want to bid on. This technique can save people money and guilt," Bonnette said. "It's easy to get caught up and carried away in the fast paced bidding action at an auction. Remember, if you bid and win, it's yours."
