Berkeley Research Group Adds London Experts

EMERYVILLE, CA--(Marketwired - Jul 11, 2013) - Global expert services and consulting firm Berkeley Research Group has expanded its London office with the additions of Director David Saunders and Principal Jonathan Humphrey.

Mr. Saunders works in a variety of industries, jurisdictions, and forums, including the UK courts and international arbitrations, with particular expertise in valuations and quantification of damages. He has been appointed as expert accountant on over 70 occasions and has given oral testimony on 15 occasions both in the UK courts and to arbitral tribunals in jurisdictions including London, Stockholm, Paris, Dubai, Hong Kong, and New York.

Mr. Saunders also has significant fraud and financial investigation experience, undertaking fraud and regulatory investigations in the United Kingdom, Europe, and Asia; and has provided expert evidence on funds tracing issues. He has also performed a number of pre-acquisition due diligence assignments and pre-lending reviews. His cases have covered business sectors including oil and gas, commodity trading, construction, property, pharmaceutical, telecommunications, manufacturing, hotels, retail, entertainment, and financial services.

Mr. Humphrey has advised on many of the largest commercial disputes in the United Kingdom, with particular expertise in performing valuations and quantifying lost profits and lost business benefits. He has been appointed as an expert in both litigation and international arbitration proceedings and has experience providing expert testimony.

Mr. Humphrey's experience also includes post-acquisition disputes, professional negligence, insurance claims and undertaken fraud, forensic, intellectual property, and regulatory investigations. He has worked in industries including IT and telecoms, construction, financial services, oil and gas, and manufacturing; and in jurisdictions including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and Africa.
