Throughout his 25-year career, Dr. Robert R. Johnson has built psychiatric systems that successfully treat complex patients, including serving as Medical Director at the world-renowned Sierra Tucson, a premier treatment center for addictions, mental and behavioral health disorders. Dr. Johnson also served as Senior Medical Director at College Hospital for 10 years, helping it become one of the busiest psychiatric hospitals in Orange County. Dr. Johnson's track record of program, leadership, and business development has garnered significant industry recognition.
Board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine, Dr. Johnson has also provided Behavioral Health consulting for public and private mental health organizations, and is a Certified Executive Coach who has worked with leaders in companies such as Rockwell International, Sony, Disney, and the US Olympic Committee.
Dr. Johnson received his Doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine from the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine and served his residency at the Harbor/UCLA Medical Center, where he was Chief Resident. He also earned Bachelors' degrees in Biological Sciences and Psychology from the University of California, Irvine.
