SAN FRANCISCO, July 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Levin, Papantonio law firm is pleased to announce that two of its shareholders, Mark Proctor and Mike Papantonio, were presented today with the David S. Shrager President's Award from the American Association for Justice (AAJ). The Award is considered the highest honor from the AAJ, the nation's largest association of trial lawyers who work on behalf of the public, not corporations.

The award is named after the late attorney general from Philadelphia. It recognizes an AAJ member who has demonstrated Mr. Shrager's passion for the law and for the trial bar, in addition to making an outstanding contribution to civil justice and the work of the AAJ, according to the association's website.
