PHOENIX, AZ--(Marketwired - Jul 25, 2013) - In an effort to make purchasing tickets and checking winning numbers more convenient for players, sales for all Arizona Lottery draw games will close at the same time starting August 5. This means that Arizona-specific draw games, including The Pick™, Fantasy 5™, Weekly Winnings™, 2by2™, and Pick 3™, will now be on the same sales close schedule as Powerball® and Mega Millions®.
Ticket sales for every Arizona Lottery draw game will close at 6:59 p.m. Arizona time during daylight saving time (from the second Sunday in March through the first Saturday in November). After daylight saving time, sales will close at 7:59 p.m. Arizona time. Sales for the next drawing will resume at 7:04 p.m. and 8:04 p.m. respectively.
"One of our main goals at the Arizona Lottery is to listen and respond to our players," said Karen Bach, director of budget, products, and communications for the Arizona Lottery. "With more consistent draw times for all of our games, players will be able to check all of their tickets at once."
