SUNNYVALE, CA--(Marketwired - Aug 5, 2013) - Real-Time Innovations (RTI), the real-time infrastructure software company, today announced its participation at the upcoming NIWeek taking place Aug. 5-8, in Austin, Texas.
During the exposition, RTI will provide live demonstrations of Connext™ DDS (Data Distribution Service) Toolkit for LabVIEW. This toolkit extends the benefits of RTI Connext solutions to LabVIEW applications and is built on the DDS standard for integrating distributed real-time applications. This new solution delivers integration with Java, C/C++ and C#/.NET applications; peer-to-peer data communication; dynamic peer discovery; REST interface; database adapter; data recording; and ensures DDS compliance.
In addition to the live product demos, RTI will formally launch its partnership with LocalGrid Technologies. LocalGrid delivers solutions that enable the smart grid of tomorrow by providing real-time data analytics and control, over a secure distributed network, for decentralized power grid assets to improve power grid reliability, improve power quality, reduce service outages and extend the life of aging distribution infrastructures.
RTI and LocalGrid bring a wealth of military and civilian market experience, and together, they deliver a solution that will greatly assist in the securing and "command & control" of critical energy assets in the field.
