FREDRICK, MD--(Marketwired - Aug 12, 2013) - Welocalize, a leader of integrated translation services and products, announced today the latest release of GlobalSight 8.5, their open-source translation management system. The updated version features integration of the offline editor OmegaT, a free translation memory application for professional translators.

Welocalize's GlobalSight 8.5 new release also includes multiple enhancements and improvement for reporting, exporting in addition to flexible configuration options for machine translation (MT) users. Users now have a simple way to select which MT engine to use for each language depending on the requirements.
Welocalize will hold two webinars focused on the new version of GlobalSight, hosted by Steve Billings, senior solutions architect at Welocalize.
