TROY, Mich., Oct. 5, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- The Suburban Collection is seeking military veterans for career opportunities at their automotive dealerships in Southeastern Michigan.
"We are pleased to be part of the Hiring Our Heroes Veterans Hiring Fair in Southfield on Tuesday, October 8," said Cindy Walker, Human Resources Director for The Suburban Collection. "This free event, part of a national effort organized by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, is designed to connect veterans with local employment opportunities."
The job fair will be held at the Southfield Pavilion, 2600 Evergreen Road in Southfield on October 8 and begins with an employment workshop at 9 a.m. From 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., participants will be able to visit with representatives from The Suburban Collection and other area businesses and organizations.
There is no charge to attend the event, but job seekers are encouraged to register in advance by visiting hohworks.eventbrite.com.
