CHARLOTTE, N.C., Oct. 23, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Locally based research firm Success Accelerators announces new study to address how companies can better leverage Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to build sales pipelines and increase overall operational efficiencies.
According to a Gartner study published in April 2013, "the worldwide CRM Market experienced a 12 percent growth in 2012, three times the average of all enterprise software categories."^ Gartner also forecasts that CRM solutions will rise to a $36B industry by 2017 and that in 2012 CEOs viewed CRM as their #1 technology-enabled investment.
Many organizations, however, face setbacks during CRM implementation including unsuccessful adoption by employees and lack of internal talent to properly customize the interface and provide routine training and maintenance. As a result, studies conducted over the last 10 years indicate that 25-60 percent of CRM projects fail to meet expectations, providing little ROI or upgraded efficiency.
Success Accelerators has announced a plan to conduct research and investigate how businesses can better leverage their CRM to increase productivity, sales, service and marketing automation. Following the one month general survey period, in-depth interviews and round-table discussions will be held to further explore trends, best practices and common challenges across a range of CRM tools. Study results will be fully released in Q1 2014.
The study will focus on best practices for implementing and managing CRM initiatives and will target organizations using the most widely adopted CRM solutions including: Microsoft's Dynamics CRM, NetSuite's CRM, Oracle Corporation's Siebel and CRM On Demand, Sage's Saleslogix, Salesforce.com, SAP's CRM, and the privately held SugarCRM.
