ReadSoft expands IBM partnership, showcases joint industry document processing solution at IBM Information On Demand

ReadSoft, a leading global provider of applications for automating business
processes, has teamed up with its global business partner IBM to provide a
unique and powerful answer to companies’ growing problems associated with the
influx of business-critical documents, document types and input channels. The
scalable, high-performance document process solution will be showcased for the
first time in North America at IBM Information On Demand 2013 in Las Vegas, NV
on November 3-7.
Conference-attending IBM customers and partners representing companies from
healthcare, commercial insurance, banking and finance industries are encouraged
to see the solution at the ReadSoft booth (#1216) to discover a new strategy for
automating document processing across all input channels that leverages a
powerful portfolio of IBM software applications to enable complete data

The solution is being jointly marketed and delivered to IBM customers and
partners globally with IBM’s Global Business Services (GBS), which is active
today as a key delivery channel for the insurance industry. Specifically, the
GBS team has worked with ReadSoft to deploy the combined tool to the second
largest public health insurance company in Germany, and in response to increased
demand, has launched an internal training initiative–further investing in its
commitment to serving the insurance industry with the joint solution.
“The ReadSoft portfolio helps GBS to penetrate new markets and deliver best-of
-breed solutions to our customers. A prime example of this is the insurance
market in Germany, where we [GBS] have trained personnel and are able to expand
our customer base by applying ReadSoft solutions,” reports Ronald Fritz, Partner

ReadSoft’s partnership with IBM began two years ago with the release of a
financial process optimization solution for organizations utilizing SAP as their
financial system. Later in 2012, ReadSoft added XBOUND, a central input
management platform, to its portfolio. While XBOUND serves as the core of the
new joint solution, components of the solution from IBM typically include
several of the following products: IBM FileNet® Content Manager, IBM WebSphere®
Application Server, IBM DB2®, IBM Content Manager and IBM Datacap. The ReadSoft
XBOUND solution and related IBM technologies are currently being rolled out at
multiple IBM Innovation Centers throughout the world where users and prospects
may see the solution in action.
