Cloud-Based Data Integration Leader Scribe Software Announces Accelerated Growth

Successful Quarter Driven by Scribe Online Adoption, Innovative Channel Distribution Strategy and Cloud Leadership Recognition

MANCHESTER, NH--(Marketwired - Nov 4, 2013) -  Scribe Software, an established global provider of solutions that easily bring customer data anywhere it is needed, today announced significant growth in Q3 of 2013, with a 525 percent increase in bookings of its cloud integration platform from Q3 2012. The growth includes increasing market penetration of the company's popular cloud-based data integration solution, Scribe Online, among Salesforce.com users, Microsoft users and others; validation among resellers, VARs and ISVs through innovative distribution strategies; and cloud thought leadership through its Cloud Leaders Series.

"As companies of all sizes turn to systems integrators, value-added resellers and ISVs to make their businesses more connected and data-driven, deeply connected, cloud-based solutions such as Scribe Online are fast becoming the go-to-market strategy for solving complex customer data integration challenges," said Scribe Software CEO Lou Guercia. "Much of our success this quarter can be attributed to growing use of Scribe Online among enterprises of all sizes that -- through the help of these channels -- are tapping cloud-based solutions to quickly and cost-effectively connect business applications for a 360-degree view of the customer."

Growth of Scribe Online
In Q3, Scribe rapidly expanded its Scribe Online platform market reach with a 100 percent increase in the number of partners selling Scribe Online over the same period last year, and a 36 percent increase in partners selling the platform over Q2 2013. This growth highlights the continuing industry shift towards a connected cloud enterprise.

"With all core business applications migrating towards the cloud, companies are shifting their focus beyond the core capabilities of functional applications to unlock the full benefits of cloud computing," said Brian Vellmure, independent analyst and consultant. "Bridging data and capabilities across cloud, on-premise, and hybrid environments is becoming increasingly important as organizations strive to eliminate customer data silos and become more agile and responsive to fast changing market dynamics."

A key contributor to this growth has been the growing base of Salesforce.com applications -- Q3 represented the highest Salesforce.com sales quarter in Scribe history. Companies such as LED Source, a leading lighting franchise operation, are turning to Scribe to integrate Salesforce.com systems with Intuit's QuickBooks and other popular business applications. With the ability to quickly integrate data from Salesforce.com with other cloud-based business applications as well as leverage the integrated data for reporting and analytics, Scribe customers gain a complete picture of their customers.

Innovative Channel Distribution Strategy
Adoption of Scribe Online among SIs, VARs and ISVs grew to record numbers in Q3 -- ISVs alone experienced a 75 percent increase over Q2 2013 -- and this channel growth helped increase Microsoft Dynamics CRM new end-user customer additions by 86 percent over Q3 2012. Scribe attributes increased Scribe Online adoption to the fact that companies are looking to quickly gain more value and holistic benefits from their cloud applications, and are turning to these channels to solve their integration challenges.

"Thanks to Scribe Online, we're able to deliver powerful data integration solutions that enable end customers to better leverage integration between core business systems to bring the enterprise closer to its connected vision, drive increased sales and enable deeper customer relationships," said Philip Massey, President of Massey Consulting.

Companies continue to look for these integration capabilities out of the box. Scribe offers competitive distribution pricing opportunities, so ISVs are increasingly offering bundled solutions -- giving customers the ability to seamlessly reap the integration benefits of Scribe Online.

Cloud Leadership
Through ongoing dialogue with some of the world's most influential cloud leaders, Scribe CEO Lou Guercia also initiated the Cloud Leaders Series. The series is creating an industry-wide educational platform for some of the most noted cloud leaders to share their thoughts, predictions and insights into the growing new cloud universe. Industry authorities such as Dana Gardner, Esteban Kolsky and Umberto Milletti have weighed in on topics such as the future of the cloud, changing CXO roles and data ownership models in the connected enterprise.
