LAS VEGAS, Nov. 12, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Rolling out what the Company described as one of its most ambitious ideas to date, Galaxy Gaming, Inc. (OTCBB:GLXZ) announced a program to partner with competition winners at the 5th annual Raving's Cutting Edge Table Games Conference. Dennis Conrad, President and Chief Strategist of the Raving Consulting Company, which co-produces the event with BNP Media Gaming Group, publishers of Casino Journal, said, "Attendees will hear from leading table game operators and suppliers and from some of the foremost experts on table games in the world."
The Conference, to be held November 18-20 at Paris Las Vegas, showcases the best new casino table games and recognizes what the industry considers those to have the greatest opportunity for successful commercialization. Each year, Galaxy Gaming's entry has placed in the top three of all games entered. The last two years, Galaxy's entry has claimed the first place prize with Triple Attack Blackjack and High Card Flush winning Casino Journal's Best New Table Game of 2011 and 2012.
For this year's Conference, Galaxy announced that although it will introduce and demonstrate several of its new table games to the numerous casino executives in attendance, it will no longer enter them into the contest. Rather, the Company has teamed up with Conference producers and will be part of the prize fulfillment for this year's winners. Specifically, Galaxy Gaming will provide a range of inventors and development services valued as much as $50,000 to the first, second and third prize winners.
Members of Galaxy's leadership team commented on the Company's strategy pertaining to its new role at the Raving Conference. "There is no shortage of good ideas for new table games, but there is a shortfall of good opportunities to bring their best to the marketplace," said Ken Dickinson, Galaxy Gaming's Product Development Manager. "We have the relationships in the industry and a record of refining the best games, so this is a win-win for us and the winners at Raving."
Gary A. Vecchiarelli, Galaxy Gaming's Chief Financial Officer, commented, "We have positioned ourselves as the inventor-friendly company where dialogue with designers is encouraged and inventors get the attention they deserve."
Robert Saucier, Galaxy's CEO, added, "Although the Company has historically won the Conference's most prestigious awards, we believe we have developed a way to best position ourselves to use our extensive knowledge, experience and global distribution network as leverage in the dynamic future of the table games world. Rather than competing against up-and-coming rivals, we will serve as an attractive pipeline for the best ideas to enter the marketplace with Galaxy as their advisor, supporter and, possibly, partner."
