Smart Card Alliance White Paper Addresses Impact of New Payment Innovations on Merchants and Consumers at Retail Stores


PARIS, Nov. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CARTES Secure Connexions Event 2013 -- Smart mobile devices, NFC, the migration to secure EMV technology and other new payments approaches are bringing significant changes to the U.S. payment landscape, affecting how merchants accept in-store payments as well as how consumers interact with merchants to select and pay for products. The Smart Card Alliance Payments Council describes these new payment innovations and how merchants can best take advantage of them in-store in a white paper released today, "The Changing U.S. Payments Landscape: Impact on Payment Transactions at Physical Stores."
