Lilia Omasheva Appointed CTC Media's Chief of Operational Efficiency and Organizational Development


MOSCOW, Nov. 18, 2013 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- CTC Media, Inc. ("CTC Media" or the "Company") (Nasdaq:CTCM) announces the appointment of Lilia Omasheva as CTC Media's Chief of Operational Efficiency and Organizational Development. The appointment takes effect starting December 2, 2013. Konstantin Khachaturov, who previously held this position, decided to leave the Company.

Lilia Omasheva will be responsible for enhancing the Company's operational efficiency. Her main tasks will include optimizing key business processes, developing the Company's organizational structure, overseeing purchases, improving human resource management efficiency, providing administrative support for the Company, implementing project management, and creating and carrying out development strategies in the areas of IT infrastructure and TV technologies.

Lilia Omasheva held the position of Executive Director of the United Company Afisha-Rambler-SUP from May to November 2013; Executive Director of Rambler Internet Holding, LLC; and Sup Media, CJSC.
