Paciolan Announces Scott O'Neil as a Keynote Speaker at PACnet '14 Conference

IRVINE, CA--(Marketwired - Jan 9, 2014) - Paciolan, an industry-leading provider of ticketing, marketing, fundraising and sales automation solutions to more than 500 live entertainment organizations, announced today that Scott O'Neil, Chief Executive Officer of the Philadelphia 76ers and New Jersey Devils, will deliver a keynote address at its annual PACnet community conference to be held Feb. 9-12, 2014 at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel & Spa in Newport Beach, Calif. O'Neil will deliver his afternoon keynote on Tuesday, Feb. 11.

O'Neil was announced as the CEO of the Philadelphia 76ers on July 8, 2013, and is responsible for overseeing every aspect of the team's business operations. O'Neil was also announced as CEO of the New Jersey Devils on Aug. 15, 2013, leading the Devils' business operations, as well as overseeing the Prudential Center and its broad entertainment offerings. Both ownership groups for the 76ers and Devils are led by Josh Harris. O'Neil will also serve as an Alternate Governor for both the Devils and 76ers at the Board of Governors meetings for the respective leagues.

Prior to his current positions, O'Neil served as President of Madison Square Garden Sports, leading some of the most coveted brands in sports, overseeing the business operations of The Madison Square Garden Company's (MSG) three professional sports teams, the New York Knicks, New York Rangers and New York Liberty. O'Neil was the key architect in several of the largest deals in NBA history, resulting in record-setting revenue in sponsorships, tickets and suites. His team signed JPMorgan Chase as MSG's first-ever Marquee Partner and also secured Signature Partnerships with Anheuser-Busch, Coca-Cola, Delta Air Lines, Kia Motors and Lexus, all of which incorporated MSG's sports, entertainment and media assets, as well as those of the transformed Madison Square Garden arena.

O'Neil came to MSG from the National Basketball Association (NBA), where as senior vice president, he oversaw the league's team marketing and business operations. He advised NBA and WNBA teams on ticket sales and service, sponsorship development, and marketing. He also managed the NBA's Canadian business, Relationship Marketing, and the NBA Development League. O'Neil holds a degree in Marketing from Villanova University and M.B.A. from the Harvard Business School.
