CAMBRIDGE, MA--(Marketwired - Feb 3, 2014) - New England's leading edtech organization LearnLaunch today announced that it will hold its 2nd annual "Across Boundaries" conference on February 28 and March 1 at Harvard University. Five hundred entrepreneurs, educators, investors, students, and other industry experts will participate in the conference, co-sponsored by the Harvard Graduate School of Education, where they will explore how edtech can scale student success.
The keynote speakers include:
- Professor of Learning Technologies Chris Dede of Harvard Graduate School of Education
- Blended learning expert Heather Staker of the Christensen Institute
- EdSurge founder Betsy Corcoran, moderating a keynote panel of successful edtech entrepreneurs: Aaron Feuer, Founder, Panorama Education; Andrew Joseph, Founder, TenMarks; and Carol Vallone, CEO, Educate Online
The conference will feature 15 panels, keynote speakers, entrepreneur demo tables and networking opportunities for those involved in education technology. Panels cover both K-12 and higher education and range from "Gamification & Learning" and "Competency-Based Learning" to "Your Go to Market Strategy" and "Funding your Startup" to "University CIO Hot Seat" and "Superintendent Hot Seat."
Sponsors include Google, Pearson, Curriculum Associates, Cengage Learning, and The Parthenon Group. Education First, Muzzy Lane Software, Education Growth Advisors, and Rethink Education are also supporting the conference.
