A 30 plus year veteran of the technology industry, Bidermann will focus his efforts on the core objectives of the organization, which include:
- Hosting the annual IEEE International Solid-State Circuits Conference (ISSCC) (February 9-13, 2014 - San Francisco, CA.)
- Publishing SSCS journal articles, which represent the most often cited source in U.S. Patent submissions
- Increased outreach to students and women in engineering, through a speaking series at its 89 chapters worldwide
- Producing and housing tutorials which provide an unequaled resource to the membership with educational material presented by world leading researchers
The SSCS has 10,000 members worldwide and dedicates itself to research in the integrated circuits arena.
